I've been plodding along on
circensesic epilogue stuff, but it's been tough. It has been more difficult to write Flint's ending than it was to write Twill's. I did manage to finally get up his baby being born, which took me almost a month. Hopefully Ill finish up everything I want to do before it's all said and done.
In the meantime, I'm resurrecting the Highly Egocentric Interview Meme. Feel free to ask about past or current characters.
Comment with any number of questions in one or more of the following categories:
• To my characters (I will respond ICly as that character)
• About my characters (I will respond OOC)
• Generic RP/writing/fandom questions
• ANYTHING AND THE KITCHEN SINK

Like, the pressure is off in terms of time to make something the way you want it, but that also means more space to keep putting it off, if that makes any sense.
For the meme, IC question to Flint, re: 'If you could go back and play your own Games differently, knowing what you know now, what would you have done instead?'. And for an OOC question, was there anything you wanted to do with Flint during the run of Circ that you didn't get to do?

Date: 2016-01-13 09:02 pm (UTC)I never thought of it that way, but I think you're right - I always do things at the last minute, and I think I need the PRESSURE to really get me going.

Date: 2016-01-14 07:39 am (UTC)Yeah! Sometimes, the pressure doesn't work -- there were a few times in Round 2 with tribute stuff where the time pressure made it hard for me to think, so I placeheld, but somehow ended up getting those done (with the placeholding relieving the pressure), but otherwise, yeah, I need the extra push, or I'll feel like I have forever to make something perfect.

Date: 2016-01-13 09:38 pm (UTC)Mostly, I'd have done it the same. I mean, I won, didn't I? I could have done some things differently - not lost our supplies early on, not underestimated the girl from Four and the boy from One, but no performance is ever perfect.
I guess mostly, I'd change my finale. I'm not sure what I could have done, but killing your district mate is an awful way to win. Maybe I wouldn't have pursued the outliers as hard at the end, hoped they took her out.
I still would have won, I just would have preferred not to have to win against a fellow Two.

Date: 2016-01-14 11:55 pm (UTC)And yeah, I've seen people with drabble journals, and I like the idea of that, but idk if I'm organized enough for that. If I tried to do that it would probably just be mostly empty.
